NATIONAL ACADEMY OF VECTOR BORNE DISEASES

The National Academy of Vector Borne Diseases (NAVBD) was established under the Society Registration Act XXI of 1860 (Registration No: 19767/199 of 1994-95) in 1994. The Academy is a nonprofit making professional organization dedicated for (a) advancing and promoting knowledge on vectors and vector-borne diseases, (b) encouraging scientists and members of the academy to undertake research on vectors and vectorborne diseases and assisting them as and when possible, (c) foster fraternity among the members of the academy,(d) hold national and international seminars/ symposium/workshops to exchange knowledge on recent advances in the field of vectors and vector-borne diseases, (e) publish proceedings/newsletters to disseminate the knowledge on vectors and vector-borne diseases and (f) create awareness on vectors and vector-borne diseases and their control among the general public.
